Two siblings—one entering young adulthood and the other just before puberty—wake up one morning to discover that their mother is missing from home. She has left without a word, no note, simply disappearing, and they are left bewildered as to why. In a burst of creativity, they decide to organize a surprise birthday party for her, hoping to bring some joy to their unexpected situation.
