Objects in the rear mirror appear closer than they really are is an experimental essay film shot entirely on Super8. It is a film spanning four generations, dealing with personal history, life and death, growing up and growing old, and the short glimpses of beauty along the way. All film material is hand-processed, sound bits are recorded on cassette tapes.
