Upcoming lesbian sports romance TV series adaptation of Meryl Wilsner's bestselling novel, produced by soccer icons Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird via their company, A Touch More. The show centers on a "rivals-to-lovers" romance between a veteran USWNT player and a rising young rookie, promising a high-stakes, queer, "smutty" drama similar to Ted Lasso meets A League of Their Own. The story centers on Grace Henderson, a veteran player struggling with trust, and Phoebe Matthews, a talented rookie, as they navigate their growing, often chaotic, romantic relationship while playing together on the U.S. Women’s National Team.
